INTRODUCTION
The
project and the experimental activities are based on the epistemological
aspects of Gestalt Psychotherapy.The
cycle of contact of the Gestalt
Psychotherapy has been combined with Daniel
Stern's studies on child's development, taken from the School of Functional
and Physical Psychotherapy.
The
training undertaken by the nine women chosen for the course and the complete
experience at the crèche are based on the analysis of the relationships
as they developed which, in other words, is the analysis of the cycle
of contact, and on the basic experiences which the Ego has to undergo
to pass from one phase of the relationship (contact)
to the following one.The key elements on which the training in the project
"Goccia-Genera" is based are the following:
1) it is only possible to approach and recognize the intensity of a child's
dimension of life if we are able to be reconciled with our own life history
and our own childhood;
2) it is important to believe in the integrity of our different inner
worlds in order to compare ourselves with life through our view of the
world and through the images, things and people which make up the world.
3) it is equally essential to identify what will guarantee our ability
to grow and develop even in the presence of conflicts and problems.
By
concentrating on obtaining these transversal abilities (which are not
simple notions, but ways of understanding reality) a programme of work
was carried out which gradually dealt with different themes.Action and
research were carried out on relationships, on knowledge, on ways of thinking,
on psychological assumptions, on the instruments which could help in educational
planning and in the relationships between adults and children.
N.B.The
children's names have been changed. The facts which were analysed and
which will now be described are true.
